School Meals and Snacks
With effect from 1 January 2025, Havannah Primary School brought its catering service in-house. Having worked with Cheshire East Catering since the school opened, this represented a significant change for the school.
Fortunately, we were supported by two highly experienced members of staff who were already familiar with our setting. Elise Ford, our Catering Supervisor, and Kelly Hawkins, our Catering Assistant, have worked at Havannah Primary School for a number of years and ensured a smooth and seamless transition.
We retained the majority of our existing dishes but chose some additional options whilst continuing to meet School Food Standards guidelines.
As well as a daily choice of hot meals, we have the Sub Bar and the Spud Oven which are both very popular amongst the pupils. We have a two week rotating menu which we change twice a year. School meals are £3.00 per meal per day.
