Year 3 - Miss Beresford and Mrs Birdsall 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Year 3

In Year 3 you will find two teachers: Miss Beresford (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) and Mrs Birdsall (Wednesday and Thursday). We have several wonderful Teaching Assistants: Mrs Williamson and Miss Richards. 

Year 3 is a really significant year in the children’s lives at Havannah as they embark on their first year in Key Stage 2. The children will be encouraged to become more independent within the classroom and there will be opportunities to take on more roles and responsibilities within school.

We are really looking forward to our learning journey and the exciting year ahead, encouraging enthusiastic and motivated learners, who work together, play together and embrace new challenges.

We encourage parents/carers to engage with spellings, multiplication challenges on Timestable Rockstars and instill a love of reading, through regular reading at home and sharing high quality stories with their child.
