Home Schooling Fun - April 2020
During the last few weeks of lockdown, the children of Havannah have been sending us their home schooling photos. Take a look at the fun they've been having.
Last week the children were very busy at home, completing their home learning tasks. In maths they started to learn about fractions, they began by having a fractions picnic and finding a half of something they ate at lunch time. They then moved onto using the Bar Model to find half of an amount. In literacy they used an image to complete different tasks, they wrote questions for the characters and found the meaning of some tricky words. Lots of the children completed the 'Purple Mash' challenge and designed a beautiful rainbow, adding a personal message at the bottom. It has also been great to hear about other fun activities that the children have been doing, such as hula hooping, baking, building in the garden and painting. Well done Year 2, What a super week!
